Verizon GroupeSchool™

Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 29 October 2026

These terms govern the use of eSchool™, the school management platform provided by Verizon Group Pty Ltd (ABN 15 671 206 349).

  1. 1. These terms

These terms apply to every school that subscribes to eSchool™ and every person who uses it. A school’s service agreement with Verizon Group Pty Ltd sets out its plan, fees and any add-ons. If that agreement and these terms differ, the agreement applies.

  2. 2. Software and licence

eSchool™ is software owned by Verizon Group Pty Ltd. For as long as its subscription is active, Verizon Group Pty Ltd grants the school a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use eSchool™ for its own educational and administrative purposes. Users may use it as their role allows.

eSchool™ is a trademark of Verizon Group Pty Ltd. The software, its design and its content remain our intellectual property. You must not copy, resell, reverse engineer or try to access another school’s data.

  3. 3. Accounts

    • Keep your password private. A one-time password must be changed when you first sign in.
    • A school’s administrators decide who has access to the school and what each person can do.
    • Tell your school or us straight away if you think your account has been used without permission.
  4. 4. The school’s responsibilities

    • Keep the information it records accurate and up to date.
    • Collect and use information about students, parents, guardians and staff lawfully, including any consent needed for photos and messages.
    • Make sure the files and messages it sends through eSchool™ are lawful and appropriate.
  5. 5. School data

The records a school keeps in eSchool™ belong to the school. We use them only to provide, support and secure eSchool™, as described in our Privacy Policy.

  6. 6. Fees

Fees, including for the white-label add-on, are set out in the school’s service agreement. Unless agreed otherwise, invoices are due within 14 days of issue, late payments may incur interest of 2% per month, and we may suspend access while payments are overdue.

  7. 7. Availability and changes

We work to keep eSchool™ available, but it may be unavailable at times, for example during maintenance. We may improve or change its features. Emails and WhatsApp messages depend on third-party services, so their delivery cannot be guaranteed.

  8. 8. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

Otherwise, to the maximum extent permitted by law, Verizon Group Pty Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of profits, data or opportunity, arising from the use of eSchool™. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees the school paid for the service that gave rise to the claim.

  9. 9. Suspension and termination

Either the school or Verizon Group Pty Ltd may end a subscription with 30 days’ written notice. We may suspend or end access straight away if these terms are seriously breached. When a subscription ends, access stops; the school can ask for a copy of its records before then, and they are deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

  10. 10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.

  11. 11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and continuing to use eSchool™ after that means you accept them.
